In my view, the Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government ought to be instructed... No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people.

About 1828

First dictionary of the American Language!

Noah Webster, the Father of American Christian education, wrote the first American dictionary and established a system of rules to govern spelling, grammar, and reading. This master linguist understood the power of words, their definitions, and the need for precise word usage in communication to maintain independence. Webster used the Bible as the foundation for his definitions.

This standard reference tool will greatly assist students of all ages in their studies.

No other dictionary compares with the Webster's 1828 dictionary. The English language has changed again and again and in many instances has become corrupt. The American Dictionary of the English Language is based upon God's written word, for Noah Webster used the Bible as the foundation for his definitions. This standard reference tool will greatly assist students of all ages in their studies. From American History to literature, from science to the Word of God, this dictionary is a necessity. For homeschoolers as well as avid Bible students it is easy, fast, and sophisticated.

How to Patent an Idea - US Patent Bring your invention to life and protect it with a US patent. The property rights that a US patent gives your invention means the right to prevent others who do not have your permission from making, using, offering for sale, or selling your invention in the United States or importing your invention into the United States. To get a US patent, all applications must be filed in the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Who owns a patent? Patents are granted only in the name or names of the actual inventors. An inventor may sell, will, transfer or give all or any percentage of the rights to a patent to anyone. This is called patent assignment. Patents can also be licensed exclusively or non-exclusively.
Utility patents Utility patents are for either a: process, machine, article of manufacture, composition of matter or an improvement of any of the above. Patent protection is also available for (1) ornamental design of an article of manufacture (design patent) or (2) asexually reproduced plant varieties by design and plant patents (plant patent).
Patentability Search If you do a quick search and don't find your idea the next step is to get a professional patent search. Why? Because a professional patent searcher will find the patents that you cannot. If you are an inventor that is interested in making money from your idea you want to know what other people have patented. Almost always it is money well spent. If a professional search turns up patents that are similar to your idea, you can make an informed decision whether you move forward with the idea or not. If nothing turns up in a professional search it can energize you to finish evaluating and developing your idea. Now could be a good time to get a patent. Check out how to patent an invention. Both outcomes are equally important and you should celebrate either one. When you find your great idea has already been patented you can pat yourself on the back for saving thousands of dollars and lots of hours of your time. If your idea turns out to be original and you decide to pursue it, get to work. Inventors really can make a lot of money with an original product idea.
How do i know if someone has already made and patent my idea? i have this idea that could be worth lots of money and it would raise a certain cars safety by a lot but i dont know if some one has made it is there a website that would list patented ideas - Your best bet is to hire a professional to do a patent search for you. However, there is no way to be sure you have looked everywhere or fully considered each patent, there are just too many. However, you can get a warm fussy feeling that it PROBABLY hasn't been patented. The process of patent examination, adds another blanket of warm fussy.
