The CRIE team consists of 3 main members; all part of the University of Arizona staff. The project leader is Monte J. Shaffer and the two individuals leading algorithm development are Gianna M. Del Corso and Francesco Romani. Using Tesserac, we are developing parsing algorithms to OCR and harvest key variables useful for academic studies of innovation and entrepreneurship. The Road Map and Data Priorities of CRIE consist of contiguous data processes every Tuesday, readily available longitudinal patent tables, Normalized priorities of user's needs, outlines of key auxiliary patent data, harvesting historical patent data and patent data application as well as staying open to foreign patent data suggestions from users. |
