Patent Rank defines the intrinsic value of a patent within the USPTO-patent network based on the graph-theory mathematics known as "eigenvector" centrality. The Road Map and Data Priorities of CRIE consist of contiguous data processes every Tuesday, readily available longitudinal patent tables, Normalized priorities of user's needs, outlines of key auxiliary patent data, harvesting historical patent data and patent data application as well as staying open to foreign patent data suggestions from users. Monte discovered the difficulty of collecting patent data through a fellow PhD student and wanted to make the process easier for students in the future. He achieved this by harvesting patent data with the help of Len Jessup, who stored objects that Monte collected into database form. |
