Getting to Isla Bastimentos and Bocas del Toro from both Costa Rica and Panama. Paunch has long, “rippable” waves that are appropriate for all levels but it mostly attracts less experienced surfers because it is fun and less dangerous than most of the other breaks at Bocas. Bocas Del Toro is home to some of the best hard and soft coral reefs in the region. There is an abundance of marine life in the area including nurse sharks, sting rays, and various species of crab and lobster. |
